Recent investigations of the two Iowa farms implicated in the United States salmonella outbreak have confirmed the presence of the bacteria at these locations.

On Aug. 26, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Officials reported traces of the bacteria in the chicken feed, manure and walkway areas of Wright County Egg Farms.

And when they came home from the jungles and fields that broke them without regard to their class or color, they returned to a foreign world that counted those qualities above their character.
