Not Enough Wonder in Burton's 'Alice' 2

Post Pioneer, Long Island University CW Post Campus, Brooklyn, NY

I'm gonna preface this with the fact that I hate Tim Burton. Like, truly despise. Every time he makes a new movie, every Hot Topic shopping shithead creams their pants while I drop to my knees and shake my fists furiously at the gods. This is because the man makes the same damn movie every time.

When I found out, I couldn't believe it.

My jaw actually fell to the floor when I read about President Barack Obama extending an olive branch to congressional Republicans on Tuesday.

Obama sent a letter to leaders in Congress. In it, he outlined four Republican ideas he was willing to compromise with and include in his final healthcare bill.

		'Cop Out': Seriously Kevin Smith?

Post Pioneer, Long Island University CW Post Campus, NY

There may have been a few jokes in "Cop Out" that I laughed at, but I did far more cringing, frowning, and burying my head in my hands than anything else.

"Firsts" are always memorable times in a person's life. While most are positive events, such as first steps, there are also negative firsts, like a first bad grade. This contrast is clearly illustrated by country music sweetheart Taylor Swift's past year.

Throughout all the years I've followed the National Football League, specifically the Pittsburgh Steelers, I've only wished for one miracle. That was in the 2005 Divisional Playoffs against the Indianapolis Colts when running back Jerome Bettis fumbled the ball at the goal line when he was one yard away from sending the Steelers to its third AFC Championship appearance in five seasons.
